Will I get a medal?
- Yes, every participant will get a medal upon completion of the race.
Is the course attested by anyone?
- Yes, the course is certified by the IAAF.
Will I get a shirt?
- Yes, in the goodybag.
Does the course have water stations?
- Refreshment stations (water and sponges) every 2.5K beginning from 5K. At 5K water only. Extra water stations (water, isotonic drinks and banans) every 5K, beginning from 5K.
Where is the Race Office?
- In the main building of "Warszawianka" Sports Club at 2 Merliniego Street in Warsaw.
Where is the start?
- At the Krakowskie Przedmieście Str.
Where is the finish line?
- In the same place as start is.
Is there a pasta party?
- The pasta party will be held on September 25, 2010 (Saturday). The fee for the pasta party is not included in the entry fee. The cost is 6 PLN.
Can I deposit items at the beginning of the race?
- Yes, you can leave your items in a special place before the race, in the Central Agronomic Library at the 66 Krakowskie Przemieście Street.
How is time measured?
- With help from the electronic chips built into your race number. Split times will be measured at 10, 21 and 30K.
How is the course going to be marked?
- There will be markers after each kilometer, and volunteers will help you stay on course and keep everyone off the course.
Will I be able to wash up at the end?
- Yes, there are showers located near the finish line.
Will I get a certificate?
- Yes, the certificate will be available to download approximately 15 days after the marathon at www.maratonwarszawski.com
Is there any free accomodation provided ?
- Yes, free accomodations will be provided on the night September 25 to September 26. It is going to be in a school's hall, so sleeping bag are necessary. People interested in this option in order to secure a place, are requested to send an e-mail to info@maratonwarszawski.com before September 23.
